Here Comes The Bride

Here comes the Bride! Finally, Larissa Joy Morris has become Larissa Joy CONLEY! The two crazy lovebirds tied the knot on the 19th of May, and I have never been more proud to be part of it. I was so blessed to watch a good friend of mine move forward into the next chapter of her life with the man she has grown to love. As I look back over the years, I see a lot of growth on both of our parts. When I first met Larissa, I wanted a big sister, or so that's what I thought. Really what I was craving was for somebody to be the emotional support I so desperately needed, because it was lacking in other areas, but as I look back, it was unfair to rely solely upon Larissa, but she took it, and, as I regret muchly, it exhausted her. But there's a happy ending to our story. We became friends once I grew up and realized a whole lot of stuff. She's now one of my dearest friends, who I know I can talk to, and I hope she knows she can talk to me as well.
I have never been more proud of her, as I watched her walk down the aisle to her new life. She looked so happy and I knew she was. For the last year or so, all she talked about was Darren, and I knew that was a huge deal. He's a great guy, who likes Home Star Runner and Harry Potter, so he's an A+ in my book. He's really a great person though who loves God and dotes on Larissa, and I know he'll take care of her.
I'm just so happy that they are together and my prayer is that God Almighty will bless the lives of Darren and Larissa Conley, as well as any little Conleys that are somewhere down the road...
God bless you guys

My School Marks

Hello to the blogging world. I am back!
I've been amazingly not busy, so I really have no excuse as to why I'm not blogging lately. I cannot use the excuse that I have no internet, because praise God, my own internet is up and running. So, I guess it's just been a lack of motivation on my part, but hopefully this is a push in the right direction.
Well, I have successfully completed my second year of my psych degree and I am very pleased with my final grades. They are as follows:
Personality: 80%
Lifespan: 82%
Learning: 75%
English: 70%
Statistics: 88%!!
So needless to say, with a 79% average overall (couldn't they bump it up to an 80%?), I'm happy, especially considering I didn't expect that mark in the dreaded English course. So yay!
I am very much looking forward to my third year of school already, when I will be taking such exciting courses such as the psychology of adolescence, introduction to forensic psychology, and possibly a human sexuality course (which some friends are trying to convince me to take, only to watch me blush). But, we shall see.
A quick update: I'm working full time now, I'm getting my hair drastically changed on Tuesday (cut and colored), Larissa is GETTING MARRIED ON FRIDAY, and I apparently look like Leonardo DiCaprio. (It's a funny story, I'll tell you sometimes). Other than that, not a whole lot is going on.
Oh, but if you're a Harry Potter fan, you should join my new trivia challenge, at
http://my.funtrivia.com/tournament/The-Harry-Potter-Challenge-52902.html
It's a daily quiz you take and your stats get recorded and it's a constant competition, but if you want to win, you have to play daily (you don't have to, but you get more points that way).
Hope to blog soon.
